Why We Play It Forward

Dear Diary,

Today was one of those lovely days that made my tiny wings buzz with joy. I spent the morning perched on a stack of toy boxes—watching little hands reach for cuddly bears, building blocks, and glittery art kits. Laughter echoed down the aisles. It reminded me why we do what we do.

You see, here at Dunebug Toys, we believe toys are more than just things—they’re bundles of joy, sparks of imagination, and tiny time machines to childhood magic.

But here's the extra-special bit: every toy someone takes home from our little shop also helps a child they may never meet. That’s the part that makes my bug heart flutter.

We're not just a toy shop. We're a non-profit with purpose, supporting children's charities all across the UK—helping provide things like warm beds, mental health support, and safety for children facing tough times. While one child unwraps a new toy, others feel the warmth of knowing someone cares. Isn’t that the most beautiful kind of magic?

We call it playing it forward—and it's the heart of everything we do.
